Zurich

April 13, 08 - Zurich. Having wandered around Bern, we hoped on the train to Zurich where we would take the night train to Vienna, Austria. Had a few hours to kill, so we explored Zurich on foot. It was the end of ski season and the whole city was celebrating the arrival of Spring. The streets were closed to traffic and there were food stalls selling all types of food, including Indian. Walked around the lake, saw a street called "Limmatquai" (which Lim ghost? in Cantonese) - Lily Lim had to have a photo taken here. We then had an expensive Chinese meal - to resolve our hunger for home food. Yes, it was expensive to dine in Restaurants around the lake - we savour each and every one piece of the rice. The owner was a lady from Shanghai - had a little chat in Mandarin, so good to be able to converse in a language we know.
