Ballenberg

April 12, 08 - Trip to Ballenberg and Lucerne. Bought combo ticket for Ballenberg at the train station. Had to take the train to Brienz, then bus to reach this open-air museum. Anyone wanting to see pretty traditional houses of Switzerland but does not want to travel all around the country, can come here. Houses from around the country had been relocated here - like a mini Switzerland.

With the Swiss Alps as a backdrop, this park is very pleasant to stroll around. There are also the traditional craftmen at work - making cheese, chocolate, weaving, etc. Animals wander freely around the farm - chicken, goat, donkey, etc.
